The kettlebell is a simple tool used in highly technical ways. It’s a skill-based workout that requires attention to teaching technique. The focus of this program is on kettlebell training, but all classes incorporate accompanying body weight and joint mobility exercises. Our coaches are highly experienced and qualified, and constantly learning to ensure their clients’ continued adaptation and improvement.
From CrossFit HQ:
CrossFit is many things. CrossFit defines fitness as: “Increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains”. CrossFit is constantly varied; functional movements performed at relatively high intensities. It delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive.
It is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies, tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion MMA athletes, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective. If you want one program that can produce the overall best combination of strength, power, speed, fat burning, and athletic ability, PhysXtreme’s CrossFit 819 program is for you.
This program combines the best movements and methods from:
- Track and field
- Olympic weightlifting
- Athletic strength training
- Odd object lifts
Conditioning and fat loss methods used by the best MMA athletes in the world
Boot camp is designed for people who may not be able to commit to training four or more times per week but still want to get all the benefits. Its foundation uses the same weightlifting barbell strength exercises as CrossFit but, without the highly technical classical weightlifting exercises (Clean & Jerk and Snatch) and their variations. It uses an equally broad but slightly different variety of training tools and exercises to ensure there is plenty of variety and you don’t get bored!
Boot camp is designed to give you suitable regressions and progressions to accommodate your fitness level. You don’t have to be as strong or as fast and fit as anyone else, but you have to give your all, no matter what it looks like.
Our kids program is based on CrossFit Kids methodology, and we scale the load and volume to ensure a safe, effective, and fun exercise program for your kids.
